About this book
The lending industry is comprised of a wide variety of sectors, such as banking, credit cards, mortgages, leasing and consumer finance. Many of these sectors have interconnections and synergies. In addition, a large number of related services and technologies have a major influence on the lending and credit business. These services include e-commerce, credit risk analysis, call centers and information technologies. Rapid changes have taken place in lending in recent years. For example, large amounts of business and consumer debt are now syndicated or securitized. Meanwhile, non-bank firms, such as GE, have become immense competitors in the lending arena, and international acquisitions are shaping up the globalized banking industry of the near future. This carefully-researched book (which includes a database of leading companies on CD-ROM) is a banking, credit and mortgages market research and business intelligence tool-- everything you need to know about the business of banking, credit...

12SecondCommute – Is All The Buzz Warranted? Or Is It Just Like Early Morning Fog, Soon Gone

I’ll try, as a user, is give you both the good and any bad I’ve found in both the 12SecondCommute Tools and it’s associated Income Opportunity, then it’s up to you to decide.

(I’ll run through quickly the main points here, and it you want you can drill down for more detailed information about the 12SecondCommute using the menus above or the links I’ll provide within this article.)

A Brief Company History: The 12SecondCommute is the latest endeavor from Darryl Graham, and follows his successful development of 2TillProfit over six years ago. 2TillProfit provided great tools but it was never designed to be a massive income earner for his affiliates, being intended just to cover the affiliates costs once they had introducing two other members (hence the name 2TillProfit), a job it achieved and exceeded easily.

The 12SecondCommute builds onto this success with even better tools and, most importantly, by coupled them with a five level, highly front loaded commission structure that is producing substantial residual incomes for many of it’s members.

This 12SecondCommute Review provides proof of how well 2tillprofit succeeded in producing a boatload of cash for it’s affiliates.

Who’s the 12SecondCommute most suitable for?

Anyone using the Internet to promote any of the following businesses:

An online MLM, Affiliate or Niche Business – especially if they want to use professional tools training weekly and the internal training videos and other materials are very clear and easy to understand.

Anyone seduced by the ‘do nothing, make gazillions by next month’ crowd. The 12SecondCommute has the potential to provide excellent ongoing income, allowing people to dump the job and ‘work’ from home (hence the name 12SecondCommute) but there is work involved and a good ‘retirement’ income could well take six months or more to achieve.

Detailed Information Here

12SecondCommute – What is it? What’s included?

=> The 12SecondCommutes Professional tools:

12SecondCommute includes all the tools and resources everyone online must have in order to build a successful business, all in one easy to use account.

==>> The 12SecondCommute Commission Plan:

A five tier, heavily front loaded, 60% total, commission structure which provides those members who opt to promote the 12SecondCommute an immediate reward for each new member who takes up an account, and long term residual incomes as all their members monthly subscriptions fall due and they receive a further commission on the renewals.

Retention was high on the old 2TillProfit package and is expected to be even higher with the new 12SecondCommute because of the expanded and even higher quality tools suite, and due to the substantial improvements in the rewards coming back to the affiliates.

What’s good about the 12SecondCommute?

The 12SecondCommute includes all the tools every online marketers needs, all in one easy to use package, coupled with a substantial multi tier (not MLM) commission plan, providing substantial residual incomes.

I like the way you’re not weighed down by complexity on arrival at the 12SecondCommute and the way the tools are introduced in simple steps as you need them. You are able to get the very best out of the tools without having to tear your hear out in frustration as you learn how to use them. A good example of the ‘Keep It Simple, Stupid’ principle

I’m also very impressed with the owner Darryl Graham. In the over four years I’ve used his services he has always over-delivered – often to a surprising degree. In developing this new tools package and the powerful commission structure that goes with it he made a smart move in soliciting the opinion of his super affiliates at every stage and the final package reflects this combined effort.

What needs improvement within the 12SecondCommute?

I’m not at all sure letting people join free for the initial month was the best way to go, and I wonder if it will attract a few ‘tire kickers’ who ‘take all, do nothing’. You know the ones – here in New Zealand we call them ‘hangers-on’ (and other things somewhat less polite )

Fortunately, after a month everyone joining will have to elect an upgrade level starting at $9 a month, which will weed out the ’sleepers’.

The services are plainly worth much more than $9 a month, even without the associated ability to earn considerable residual incomes, so maybe I’m just a bit hard nosed in thinking everyone should have been required to invest $9 a month from day one. In the long run it makes little difference anyway.

What does the 12SecondCommute cost:

All the services and tools are available beginning at $9 a month. Choosing to upgrade to one of the other three levels simply gives you more of everything you already have. i.e. larger capacity hosting, larger email lists, more capture pages etc.

From my experience most new members will be very happy with what they get for $9 a month and it will only be when their businesses have grown quite large (and assumably quite profitable) that they may spot a need to upgrade to get more capacity.

This 12SecondCommute Review provides more information on the cost of the 12SecondCommute.

Conclusion:

As a user I’m extremely happy with the effectiveness of all the tools in the 12SecondCommute suite, and scores of members are reporting that the commission structure is producing regular and ongoing incomes for them.

However I haven’t promoted it very much myself yet because I’m too busy coaching my students in my role as the StartBusinessMentor at the moment, and therefore I can’t show the income from my own personal experience.

However I can say from feedback from several long term colleagues within 12SecondCommute that I have good reason to trust, that it is producing very large incomes for them and that the drop out rate for upgraded members is very low – all of which means the residual income capability is very real.

My recommendation is that you take up the one month free trial offer, give all the tools and the training as good thrashing and then decide for yourself whether you think enough of 12SecondCommute to make the move to upgrade to one of the levels that best suites your situation. Frankly, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with what you see

But whatever you decide, be aware that, you WILL NEED all these tools if you genuinely would like to make it online, and you will not get them at a better price anywhere else. Don’t miss the value here because it’s only $9 a month.

My second recommendation is that you attend the live weekly training webinars, especially the one(s) done by the owner Darryl. Get to know the other members, their willingness to help you, and their integrity, and let that knowledge form part of your decision.

PesaPal: Kenyan Web & Mobile Payments

(Ordinary Kenyans). It’s a way for local vendors to offer digital payment for goods in a systematic way that they can track, and in a format that Kenyans have and are familiar with: mobile phone transactions.

Think of PesaPal as akin to the services offered by PayPal and Google Checkout to businesses – except that it actually works in Africa. ( ).

Phase 1 (this release) is about vendors being able to receive money, think mCommerce, ticketing, education, online stores, etc. Phase 2 (time TBD) is about paying money, which would include things like payroll, payday loans, micro-loans, etc. How it Works

A prototypical business might be someone who manages a school or a vendor who wants to sell products via a website or billboard. They would come and sign up with PesaPal and get approved mobile phone payments set up using their own Zap or Mpesa account.

At this point the business is up and running and can receive payments.

If the business has a website, there are a few more options. They can pay a one-time fee of 4,000/= ($50) and get a pre-built plugin for common website content management systems like Joomla or osCommerce. The more advanced implementers can access and use the exposed web services (API) that PesaPal has built to allow for merchant and buyer verification or transaction processing.

A good example of this is Totally Toto , a website that sells children’s clothes and delivers them locally. Their only option in the past was cash-on-delivery, with PesaPal they are now also accepting, and tracking, payment in advance.

The business model for PesaPal is a transactional one, where they make approximately 15/= ($.20) per transaction that uses their system. I’m in favor of this because it gives PesaPal a great incentive to grow their user base and provide a service that truly helps vendors using their tool.

Further revenue opportunities for the PesaPal team include customized product integration, web site design and licensing of more advanced API functions by larger organizations.

Out of the box in phase 1, users will have:

Immediate receipting and confirmation Transaction details stored for 7 years Vetted merchants/vendors Monitoring for KYC (Know Your Customer) and AMC (Anti-money Laundering) to protect vendors Safe and secure hosting within Kenya, the same place that Swift (money transfers) hosts theirs

The People and the Business

Agosta Liko is the Founder of PesaPal. He brings to the table a wealth of experience working in the US banking sector, Insurance field and Consulting. Agosta has worked on Wire Transfer, Loans Origination and Anti Money Laundering Systems for First Citizens Bancshares in USA. Paul Mungai, PesaPal’s Chief Software Engineer has over 5 years experience with Verviant Consulting Services where he worked on a wide array of ecommerce outsourcing projects. Onesmus Kamau Kagwanja, PesaPal’s Chief Technology Officer has been building software in East Africa for years, creating enterprise-level applications for some of the larger insurance companies in the region.

This background gives the seasoned team a particular edge when it comes to doing this work in Kenya. It has also helped them to bootstrap the venture, to build the application, launch it and keep them running through next year. The need and the ability to raise funds locally is a big deal in and of itself, and it’s a big mark in PesaPal’s favor that they’ve been able to pull this off.

It takes more than just pushing the “go” button on a website to make a business take off. It also takes deep pockets to launch a country-wide marketing campaign, a necessary expense for consumer products. Look for a major billboard, radio and web push by their team starting in October.

That’s great work. I’ve been looking forward to one of these services. Until today, I only know of Paypal, which I don’t trust (how would I start following up if my money went MISSING electronically? Would I take a plane to Paypal’s offices in some strange foreign country?) With PesaPal, i can walk into Michael Joseph’s premises on Kenyatta Avenue and shout all the noise and frustration, should such a scenario arise. Let’s think of it as a Kenyan Credit Card system. Again, great stuff by you and your team. JKUAT products/graduands rock! Let’s take over this country, by storm (IT-cally)
