I did a rough calculation and figured that the tiny plan would probably be good for around 12,000 to 15,000 hits per month based on my blog, but that was a very rough calculation. With self-hosted blogs, you can use a plugin called wp-cache, which will cache your pages on the web host and reduce bandwidth usage, so that is an option. The nice thing about ASO is that if you need to upgrade your account, all you have to do is contact customer service (during business hours). I use my web host account to put up demo sites for clients so I needed to move to the small package for the additional storage space, and within an hour after I sent my email, my account was upgraded with absolutely no interruption at all.
We Indians often use ‘cheap’ to mean ‘low cost’! Pardon me on that.
Americans do also, but it can also be associated with low-quality, low cost – which is what I was meaning. ASO is definitely not low quality.
