This provides a centralized cloud-based system that allows Neustar customers and participating providers to publish DNS modifications in real time to participating ISPs and recursive service providers, creating a better experience for Internet users around the world.
Neustar, a provider of managed authoritative DNS services (through its UltraDNS service line), and OpenDNS, a leading recursive DNS service provider, identified the need for a better process for updating the DNS, which is critical to the performance and security of the Internet. Under the current process, enterprises and domain owners, who maintain the authoritative DNS records, are constrained by a ‘waiting period’ known as DNS Time to Live (TTL) before the recursive DNS records cached within the ISPs’ infrastructures are updated. The often sluggish pace of these DNS updates plagues customers of both companies on a daily basis. Since the inception of the Internet, documented online outages have exposed a glaring need for a fundamental change to this approach. In recent months, large service providers – as well as entire countries – have been completely unavailable to Internet users for periods of time due to errors in ISPs’ DNS memory or cache. While the fixes were identified and made immediately, the corrections were subject to inherent caching rules, and therefore could not be propagated until the TTL expired.

The DNS Real-time Directory makes disaster recovery easier, faster and more flexible, as it facilitates instant updates to DNS entries and IP addressing in the wake of an outage. By speeding up the time it normally takes to acknowledge updates to the Internet’s infrastructure, the DNS Real-time Directory represents a significant step forward in the way web-savvy organizations manage change.
“For decades, the Internet community has known that while DNS caching provides enhanced network performance and stability, it also introduces complexities and vulnerabilities into the Domain Name System,” said Sean Leach, senior director of technology at Neustar. “With Neustar’s DNS Real-time Directory, DNS changes and corrections can be propagated immediately throughout the Internet using a centralized, cloud-based directory infrastructure for the first time ever.”

I bet you wouldn’t. But Let just suspend this belief for a moment.

And this is exactly what I am going to show you here. If you’ve been looking at online marketing for some time, then I believe you already have all the most important resources (i.e. Aweber’s list building services, domain, hosting etc).
And you are not going to spend a pretty much a single penny if you already have all the above resources.
When I talked about Income stream, the biggest clue or Idea for you to latch on is by creating product.
Personally I can write a report in couple of hours and get it ready to sell in less than 3 hrs. But I know, not everybody is like me and can type really fast.
So I am going for the next best option. PLR (private label Rights) Products. Now Before you roll your eyes and get angry, listen to me. There are quite a good lot of PLR products out there which can be sold for pretty penny.
Now the biggest everyone makes with these products is that they try to sell it as it is.
What I want you to do what nobody else is doing it (besides me, I guess).
And the thing is called “A little work”. Yup, you are going to work a little.
Anyways, what I want you to do is,
1. Clean up the PLR Document you have, completely. Remove the titles page and everything useless.
2. Remove All the Un-necessary Junk from the document. This here have to be done carefully. Most of the PLR stuff have WAY TOO MUCH FLUFF. For example, if I have an internet marketing document, it’d start from 1980’s describing how internet came to be and how it all started. (now of course I am exaggerating but not by much).
3. Turn a 100 page document into 30–40 page Report. Make it Succinct, Short, To the point. You get my point right?
Total Time Spent So Far – 30 minutes From My Experience (It helps if you know the topic).
4. Write a New sales letter (You don’t need a 20 page monster letter for this). A single page or two will do wonder for you.
5. No need for graphics, Plain words will do wonders. (With new FTC regulations, you’ll be hard pressed to utilize more of the testimonials, but you can still do a damned good job).
6. Charge a fair price. (Now here’s the thing about reports, Depending on information, reports can get you good price. I have seen 10 page report being sold for $97. Though chances are very for PLR stuff to get that much but you get the idea.)
Total Time Spent So Far – 1 hr, 15 minutes at max (30 – 45 minutes on the sales letter etc).
7. Get Traffic, Build a List. This I’ll talk about later (otherwise just do a search on my blog or check the category “Increase Web Site Traffic”
Rest of time – SPEND IT ON BRINGING TRAFFIC.
Now, I know from experience first 3 steps don’t take more than half an hour to do it right. And I”d spend most of my time getting traffic to that page. If you create 8–10 of these reports and bring enough traffic, You’d be able to sell few reports per day.
For example – $10 per report and 4–5 sales per day is going bring you a neat $1500 a month. It completely depends on how hard you promote them. I’ll be talking about getting traffic in my next post.
